# PulseIn key features

Everything below is in PulseIn 2.0 for iPhone (iOS 18 or later).

## Pulse Cards and personas
Your profile, made to be handed over. Keep a card for work and another for everything else, each with its own name, photo, colour and details, and switch between them from the top of your profile. Build a card with a live preview, or scan a paper business card to fill it in. Presets for a recruiter, a client or a friend decide which lines each share shows.

## Sharing: QR, NFC, link, Wallet, Pulse Out, nearby
- **QR code:** a soft-dot code in the Pulse orb, or the card itself, ready to save or share.
- **NFC:** write your card link to a blank NFC tag.
- **Link:** your own address, pulsein.one/@yourname. People don't need the app to see your card.
- **Apple Wallet:** add a pass for a preset, in your card colour or in Ink.
- **Pulse Out:** at a conference, meetup or café, see the people within about a kilometre who have Pulse Out open too, and connect in one tap. It does nothing until you start it and uses precise location only while it runs.
- **Find people nearby:** swap cards with someone standing next to you over Bluetooth. The phone advertises a short random token, never an account id.
- A private card is shared through links that expire, and every link can be stopped at once.

## The Network: remember how you met
Every connection keeps where and when you met, notes and tags. Sort people into categories such as clients, a project or a team; a person sits in at most one, and anyone unsorted is easy to find. PulseIn can **suggest categories, worked out on your iPhone** (with Apple Intelligence where available, otherwise simple rules) and nothing about suggestions is sent to PulseIn's servers. Search across names, companies, notes and places, filter by how, where or when you met, and see your connections on a map.

## A calm feed, with optional algorithms
- **Following:** the newest posts from people you follow. No algorithm, nothing ranked, nothing inserted.
- **For You:** recent posts that match the interests you chose. "Not interested" shows fewer like it, and personalisation can be turned off in Settings.
- **Communities:** posts from the communities you've joined.

Activity gathers connection requests, new followers, replies and mentions in one place. No streaks.

## Posts
Up to four photos or one video, through PulseIn's own editor: crop, straighten, adjust, filters and markup for photos; trim, crop, mute and the cover frame for video. Reply in threads, repost or quote, and add #tags.

## Communities
Join a community for your field, your city or your hobby, or start your own with a live preview of its page. Communities can be open, by request, invite only or paid.

## Creator subscriptions and tips
Creators can let people subscribe to their card or send a tip. Buyers pay through the App Store; creators are paid out through Stripe. Subscribers-only posts gate the photos and videos, never the text.

## The verified tick
With PulseIn Pro, a quick identity check with Stripe adds a verified tick to your profile, posts and replies. Stripe keeps the documents; PulseIn keeps only the result.

## Privacy and safety
- No advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics.
- Location only when a feature needs it, never guessed from your IP address.
- Posts and media are checked by models running on PulseIn's own servers; sensitive media stays behind a veil.
- Mute, block and report from any post, reply, profile or community.
- Download your data or delete your account from Settings at any time.

## 16+ age assurance
PulseIn is for people 16 and over. On iOS 26 and later, sign-up first offers Apple's "Share your age range" (Declared Age Range); otherwise people enter a birth year. Under 16 is refused and nothing is created.

## PulseIn Pro
$1.99 a month or $19.99 a year (US prices). Pro adds exactly three things: the verified tick, offering subscriptions and accepting tips, and private or approval-only communities. Subscribing to and tipping others stays free.
