Privacy & safety

Private by default, calm by design

PulseIn is meant to be a social network you don't have to defend yourself against. Here is what that means in the app today.

  • No third-party trackers

The app has no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics, and we don't sell your data. This website doesn't use cookies for tracking or analytics and loads nothing from other companies, which is why it has no cookie banner.

  • You decide what's personal

Following is the newest posts from people you follow, not ranked. For You can use your activity to suggest posts; turn that off in Settings under Privacy and nothing is collected for it. Not interested lets you see fewer posts like one, from one person, or about one topic.

  • Your location stays yours

PulseIn asks for location only when a feature needs it. Pulse Out uses precise location while it's running and stops when you stop it. When you save where you met someone, that place is stored with the contact until you change it or delete the contact. We don't guess your location from your IP address.

  • Moderation on our own servers

Posts, comments and media are checked by open-source models running on PulseIn's own servers, so your words and photos aren't sent to an outside AI company to be moderated.

  • Private cards stay private

A private card is shared through links that expire, and you can stop every link to a card at once. Other people see only the lines your card shows.

  • Leave whenever you want

Delete your account from Settings in the app, or on this website. If you've earned money as a creator, deletion is never blocked; what you're owed is still paid out.

  • Report a problem

Report posts and profiles from the app, or block or mute accounts you'd rather not see. Our safety centre explains how moderation works, and you can report illegal content without an account.
